I think it's difficult for young players to play against Patty. She has a special game and she's left-handed.
Yep, great observation, Fab. 8-) Most young players struggle against lefties due to inexperience. Still, Magda did well as Christina wrote.

Great to see Magda climbing the ranks, if she can have a good indoor season wether that be on the ITF circuit or in Tier IV's and III's i reckon there is a good chance that she can crack the top 50 by the end of the year. I dont know how many points she has to defend between now and then, but I dont remember hearing much about her this time last year

She started to play around this time of the year last season after a very long injury , but her results weren't good , still looking for match rhythm

Wow, actually I saw her first time at the US Open when she was against Patty..
At first I thought Patty will just run away with an easy win but Magda gave Patty a hard sweat..

She looks like a bit of Dani..
Possible Dani in the making?? :slovakia:

Q: What was the key for your yesterday's match?

"It was my serve and my forthand. I play really agressive. I play my game..."

" I play well. I enjoy every tournament. I think I'm ready to play big tournaments."

Q: Who were your tennis heroes when you were growing up?

" They were Roger Federer and Martina Hingis."

This is your second time in Greece. Tell me about your 1st experience in Patras City, when you capture your best ITF title.

" It was very good tournament for me. It was running in my Final match but... I like the city. I like Greece and greek people.

Q: What to expect from you in this tournament?

" I like clay too. I have my chances!"

Q: Why do you choose to play Athens and not in a WTA Tour tournament in Bali?

" First of all, here in Athens i would be seeded player. Also, I like this city...It's really special here! My coach told me to come and play in Athens..."
