I think the title match will go to Murray. Roddick's serving aside, Murray has a far better game, and has got a good chance of winning this in straight sets in my oppinion.

Murray certainly can be happy with his draw and I would personally be surprised, if murray did make it to the semi's, he would meet Nadal who hasnt had the best of records at the Aussie Open. Hopefully Murray can get past the hoodoo of last year and get comfortably into the 2nd round and go from there. He's one of the favourites for this tournament, if not the favourite and theres good reason for that

Such a dissapointment Murray going out last night, I didnt see the match but by the sounds of things it was inconsistency that was the problem with Murray who has been so sharp all of the back end of last season and the beginning of this. I was wary of Verdasco after I saw his result against Stepanek but didnt think that Murray would end up on the wrong end of this result.

It's quite a bad loss, despite the fact that Verdasco has been playing well recently. Plus, the likes of Djokovic and Federer will now be able to claim that they were right and that Murray shouldn't have been the favourite going into the Open.
I'm sure Murray will come back strong in his next tournament, and I definately think he can still end the year ranked 2 or 3 in the world.

Murray has raced through the final set against Nadal, and taken the match and the Championship, by two-sets to one; 6-3 4-6 6-0, in 1hour and 50minutes.
A great performance from Murray, that I think was to be expected giving his result against Ancic yesterday. The slight ankle injury that he sustained during his quarter-final obviously didn't affect him and I think he can now be very confident of making huge progress this year, with a very realistic chance of claiming his first Grand Slam at The Championships or The US Open.
Nadal certainly didn't play his best tennis throughout the week, and this is reflected in his scorelines, winning his first three matches in three sets, but this is still a great win for Murray (particularly since it was in a final). Their head-to-head is now very gradually swinging towards Murray, who has won their last two encounters (their last three if Abu Dhabi is included).
A very good first week back on the tour after the Australian Open, and Murray can take alot of confidence with him to Dubai. He will not be playing next week in Marseille (as scheduled) due to the slight discomfort in his ankle, so will not have the opportunity to defend his title there. Looking further ahead though, I'm sure this is going to be Murray's best year yet on the ATP Tour.

A good win for Murray, as it always is when you beat the World number 1 but I think the knee injury that Nadal seemed to sustain in the 2nd set may of been a big factor when it came to the final set of the match. Neither player could hold serve for what I made out as being 8 games in a row where the two broke each other, Nadal due to not being able to push off on the serve and Murray assumingly through mental frailty thinking that Nadal wasnt at 100%. But a wins a win, and a titles and title so congratulations Andy.
