Nadal wins in Monte Carlo the 4th time in a row.
7/5 7/5 against Federer
Roger lead in the second set 4/0, then lost 5 games in a row!

Nadal won also the doubles title with Tommy Robredo.
6/3 6/3 against Mahesh Bhupathi/ Mark Knowles

He is the first male player since Jim Courier in 1991 (Indian Wells), to win singles and doubles in a Masters Tournament.
He is the first player to win both titles in Monte Carlo since Ilie Nastase in 1973.

i say that via livestream.
I wanted Roger to win and in the second set my hope returned, but then Federer broke down and made VERY much errors (44 in the whole match. Nadal only made 20 errors while both players made cira the same number of winners).

Nevertheless: Congrats to Nadal to win both titles

I was also hoping for Federer to win the match. I only followed live scores and at 4-0 in the second set I was so sure Federer was going to make it to the third set.

But nevertheless, a good tournament for Federer who hasn't been playing so well this year, I hope this means he is coming back to his usual self.

Yes, Federer didn't play bad at all during this first master series tourney of the year... played well against Nalbandian, Djokovic and Rafa as well... too bad for the 2nd set but it seems like he's trying to regain his good form.

Barcelona and Munich this week.
I guess Nadal will take his 4th title in Barcelona in a row. Won the first round.
Blake lost against Denis Gremelmayr with 6/1 6/4
Bryan's won 1st Round in doubles today.

Munich
Defending Champ Kohlschreiber withdrew. Felt sick or something. Is getting in trouble, because he is still not qualified for Bejing this year. Only Kiefer is qualified because of madrid SF last year.
German women won't play at the Olympics.
Haas withdrew as well/ from rome next week too. At least this time a smart decision from him.
Only Berrer is still in the tournament, from 8 german players who were in the draw. A weak field weak tournament and a moron as the director (Patrick Kühnen).
So honestly nobody cares who will win here. I saw Highlights of Becker vs. Darcis today and I thought: How could Becker beat Agassi in 2006. He is one of the worst player in germany. Florian Mayer is the worst.

I agree, its a weak field, but i would like to see Marat Safin go far (although I doubt he will win the tournament). Struggled against Berlocq 6-3 3-6 6-4. Michael Berrer in 2R. It should be a win for Safin, but its always difficult to say! Would be expected to meet Gonzalez in QF, but Vliegen might cause an upset seen as he has been playing ok recently.
In general though, I think quite a boring week on both tours - the women's events aren't exactly enthralling either!

Congrats to Nadal, imo, he's the Clay King. :P Federer is in such a slump right now.

Federer is in such a slump right now.
i wouldn't say he is still in a slump. He won Estoril and was in a Masters Final (w/ wins against Nalbandian and Djokovic). Losing to Nadal, on clay, is no shame.

Nalbandian out in Barcelona. Lost against Wawrinka. That was the 5th lose against Wawrinka in a row. He is down 2-5 in their Head to head.
Nadal won easy against Lopez and Ferrer is in QF as well.

Well Munich. Safin and Gonzales in the next Round. Although Gonzales was so close to lose against Vliegen today.

Wawrinka is a bad match up for Nalbandian, it's probably that backhand one-hander. Plus this is his best surface.

 jep that was great. Roger said "be quite" to the Family from Djokovic, who started to yell because of one call of a linesman.
Sorry, but they are idiots!!

Nadal won today. Same goes for Ferrer and Wawrinka. I think Nadal vs. Ferrer will be the final on Sunday.
Yones El Aynaoui won today against Del Potro. :D I hope he can advance into the Finals. Will be hard against Gonzales.

Federer was right, but I don't blame them. If I had a son and my son was on that court, I would probably do the same thing.

The Djokovic family is very noisy and colorful and lack a bit of tennis etiquette.... you can tell they are alpine skiers!!! (sorry you have to know skiers to understand this)

As expected Nadal vs. Ferrer in the Final of Barcelona.
Nadal crushed Gremelmayr in 50 minutes with 61 60
Bryan's are able too clinch their the 2nd in Barcelona after 2003. They play against Mariusz Fyrstenberg and Marcin Matkowski. It#s their 6 final of the year and they only won 1.

Too bad that El Aynaoui lost against Gonzalez. Gonzalez now against Bolleli. I guess Gonzalez will take the title, if plays the same like yesterday.

Bryan/Bryan [1] d. Fyrstenberg/Matkowski [7] 6-3 6-2
Comfortable win for the Bryans in Barcelona, Rome up next.
Nadal and Ferrer just about to begin play.

In Munich, Bolelli leads Gonzalez 5-4 (on serve)
Wildcards Berrer and Schuettler take doubles title, defeating Lipsky and Martin in three sets, 7-5 3-6 [10-8]
