Mirka and Roger are pregnant :heart2:

Dear Fans

I arrived in Indian Wells earlier this week and I am eager to get back out on court. My back is feeling much better and I am ready to go.

I also have some really awesome news to share with all of you: Mirka and I are excited to let you know that we will be parents this summer! Mirka is pregnant and we are so happy to be starting a family together. This is a dream come true for us. We love children and we are looking forward to being parents for the first time. Mirka is feeling great and everything is going well.

Speak soon and thanks for all your continued support!

Roger

I actually wouldn't be surprised if it improved his tennis. His main problem IMO is mentality. It was so obvious in the Aus Open final against Nadal. And then the rest of the players have gradually started believing that they can beat Roger too. In addition, Roger is putting a lot of pressure on himself to get that slam number 14. Having a child might divert his attention so he doesn't apply pressure on himself and instead plays more freely.

Certainly congratulations in order for Roger and Mirka, Im hoping that what Christina say's is true cause I would really like to see Roger back at the top of the tree and get that elusive 14th major

Federer, a 13-time Grand Slam champion, hasn't played on tour since his five-set loss to top-ranked Rafael Nadal in the Australian Open final Feb. 1.

He had been scheduled to play in a tournament in Dubai and in the opening round of Davis Cup before arriving in California for the BNP Paribas Open. Instead, he took that time off to rest and give Darren Cahill of Australia an audition for the job of full-time coach.

"After I decided not to play those two events I thought it would be a good time for a test," said Federer, a three-time champion of this event at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden. "He [Cahill] came over to Dubai and we worked a bit and we decided we're not going to do it, so we're moving on.

"It was a test. We said let's see how it goes first and go back and think about it. He thought it was tough for him to do the traveling with his kids and everything. It never really got to the point where I had to think too far and make a decision on my own. I never really had to go there. He took the decision for me," he said.

Daniela Hantuchova is right about everything.

andy murray reduces the gap from djokovic(1000 points)
considering that novak has huge points to defend in clay and murray almost nothing
new No 3 is in the door

I just need to comment that the match last night with Andy Roddick vs Daniel Koellerer was one of the best matches I've seen. That was my first time seeing that player and he was just funny. And congratulations to Federer, I don't think it will have any negative effect on his tennis.

They don't call him "Crazy Dani" for nothing! Always good to see Roddick letting loose with the expletives as well.

I could tell Andy was seriously ticked off during that match because Daniel was screaming like mad. I laughed so hard at the point where he slides the racquet across the ground, as if it would really have an effect on the point. I'm very silly like that, too. ;)

Andy with his heckles raised makes for great television.

Can't believe the absolute demolition job Verdasco did on Gasquet. That forehand is a frighteningly powerful shot, and he doesn't miss at all these days.

It was such a shame seeing James Blake get demolished by Fernando Gonzales in the second set. James Blake is one of the few Americans I really like, like Andy for example.

Gonzo was on fire. Not much you can do when he decides to play like that.
