Since there are no ties in the elimination round, the can provide a useful guide for what everyone's chances are:

UPDATED: I have done the whole tournament as there's very little difference between Sweden and Russia.

Domenech's horoscope says that he's going to be sacked tomorrow. How could a team with those players be so bad and you just look at players like Trezeguet, Mexes, Giuly, Clichy and Flamini that weren't even picked. Unbelievable. If Romania had shown more ambition in the first game, then they could easily have won and had a much better chance of going through. The Netherlands have been playing exceptionally and you've got to say that Buffon is the best goalkeeper in the world, especially after that penalty save which kept Italy in the tournament and ultimately put Romania out.

Daniela Hantuchova is right about everything.

If you're Croatian, you have to be absolutely sick right now. Talk about a kick in the gut. To go from the ecstasy of going a goal ahead in the last minute to having it snatched away about 30 seconds later was just too much to overcome in time for the penalties and it showed. The Turkish goal was essentially the winner as the Croatian players looked and felt like they'd just lost.

Turkey seem to save all the energy for the last minute. They've been ahead for about two minutes in four games and are in the semi-final. Either they're destined to win or have used up all their luck and are going to get thrashed.

Daniela Hantuchova is right about everything.
