This is for those who didnt see the game...

The Czech Republic were leading comfortably 2-0 with 15 minutes to go when Turkey pulled on back.

An attack down the right hand side brought a slide rule pass across the box which was finished by Arda beating Cech at his near post.

Turkeys second goal was a HOWLER from Cech, arguably the best goalkeeper in the world. The cross came in from the right, I think from Kazim-Richards, Cech game to claim the ball and he couldnt grasp it, the ball fell perfectly to Nihat who had the simple task of slotting it into an open goal.

Before the Czechs had a chance to think they were 3-2 down. Nihat was delightfully played through, Galasek played him on and he curled a beautiful strike off the bar from 20 yards out, Cech had no chance.

Into injury time Volkan got himself sent off for shoving over Koller pretty much in front of the referee. Volkan retaliated after Koller jumped towards him, not looking at the ball, when the ball was pumped over the top, Koller clipped Volkan and he didnt like it so he shoved him and off her went.

Ive seen some entertaining comebacks in my time as a football fan but this was just astonishing.

Martin, im glad your taking it in jest. Such a harsh way to be knocked out of a major tournament

On Čech's defense, it was raining during the whole match and the ball was slippery. But if he is that good as they say, he shouldn't have any problems with such a ball. Imo he clearly underestimated that pass, now he pays the price.

edit: I stopped laughing and now I am shaking my head in disbelief.

Good that I decided to stay at home this time, cause if I had been somewhere in a pub I would have had to drink myself to death, which wouldn't be the best option since I am waking up early tomorrow morning.
Sad end, but what can you do. The Turks did well to come back, one must admire their fighting spirit.

Turkey 3-2 Czech Republic  You think that the matches here can't be topped, then you get a match like this. Absolutely incredible.
