yeah Boston takes the lead with a 76-72 win over "king" James :D
Garrnett and Allen lead the Team. Garrnett had 28 pts and 8 Rebs and Allen added 15 pts. Paul Pierce had only 4 pts.
LeBron James with only 12 pts and amazing 10 Turnovers  and 9 asts. + 9 Rebs. He was close to get a quadruple double. :P ;)
too bad I couldn't seen the game.

Kobe Bryant is now officially the MVP of the Season. He played a great year and is a true MVP, but I think Chris Paul would be the better option. He was even better, without having a "great". Nobody expected the Hornets to be that good. And Paul was the reason, that they reached the Playoffs.

even though i'm a lakers fan i have to agree carsten, chris paul should have got mvp.
it was the other players at the lakers who stepped up this year to make them a better team, players like Farmar, Vujacic, Turiaf, Radmanovic, Bynum, Odom.. and then of course the aqusition of Gasol. But the fact was they didnt leave Kobe to do all the work, it was spread. For mine the lakers have got to where they are by being a great team with a hard working and enthusiastic bench, not on the back of one man..

but in saying that congrats Kobe on your first MVP award!!
game 2 in the series vs Jazz tomorrow!

Orlando crushed the Pistons :D 111:86 and cut the lead 1-2 in the sreies.
Rashard Lewis with 33 Pts lead the Magic + Dwight Howard with 20 pts and 12 rebs.
It's really surprising that there are so many "easy" games, with 18+ pts difference in the Playoffs.

Lakers won their second at home too, against the Jazz.
It getting interesting now. The Jazz are the best team at Home. I hope this series will be a liitle bit more exciting.

I agree with you. The whole team made a step forward. Kobe played like this the last years, but he never had a team around him that were in a position to help him. Now they are deep and there is no need anymore for the one man show from Kobe.

GO LAKERS! haha
i'm still not sure about Detroit, i keep thinking about how much they struggled against Philly..
and i agree about the blowout games, its disappointing that they're ending with such big margins, but i'm sure it'll get closer as more teams dropout

i gotta be honest i hate Ginobili haha
i read somewhere that he is one of those players who you love if he is on your team and hate when he's not haha
but he is an excellent player i'll give him that lol
Spurs played well today, they're right back in it.. my prediction is that this series will get to 2-all lol

Spurs tied the series to 2-2. Home court advantage has played a major role in this play-off so far.

home team has only lost once so far in this second round, that was detroit defeating orlando in game 4. very close series in all of them too, still up for grabs for any team!
i gotta say boston look very shaky at the moment, their form in their away games is just not good enough for mine, the interesting thing is they could win the championship without winning away in the playoffs haha

also interesting to watch the rest of the cavaliers step up and not just leave it to LeBron, they're starting to look a lot more like a team that can win it! lol

Lakers became the second team through to the conference finals, behind Detroit in the east.
What a tense final quarter in game 6 against the Jazz though. The Lakers led easily all game and Utah made an amazing comeback, their three point shooting down the stretch was amazing!
and the jazz had 2 shots to tie the game at the end but LA held on 108-105 and claimed a 4-2 series win.

The other two series go to game 7, cavs @ celtics and then spurs @ hornets.
it'll be interesting to see which of those teams can get through, you'd think the home teams seeing the home team record in this second round of the playoffs has been 20-2 up until this point!

Lakers, Celtics and Pistons all in the conference finals. It's 1987.

Daniela Hantuchova is right about everything.

go lakers!!
what a comeback in that game one from LA, down 45-65 halfway through the third and then Kobe and the rest turned it on, really stirring performance by the lakers

Detroit scored a nice upset win over Boston today, now with the next to away for a celtics team that hasnt won on the road yet these playoffs, it shall be interesting..

Almost could be call a choke by Spurs.
Expected win by Pistons, they will beat Boston.

maybe, i think they just couldn't handle it when the lakers lifted their intensity, really only Tim Duncan was dangerous for them. Ginobili had a horrible game.

Spurs come back to 1-2 after beating the Lakers at home with 103-84

Ginobili,Duncan,Parker finally played all three well again in the same match, and not one great and two down, if they keep this up , i still see them winning the NBA.
