The semi-final is the best that Federer's played for a while, especially in the first set which was vintage Federer and once he got the break in the third he went on to win easily enough. That smash lob from Federer really was something else. I wonder what effect the aggro with Roddick had on Djokov...

In recent years Davenport as World no 2, Kuznetsova as US Open Champion, Myskina as French Open Champion and Jankovic as no 3 have played Bali. This year there isn't a top tenner in the field.
