That was a really poor showing from Daniela. Doi was very solid but didn't need to play exceptionally as most of the points would end in a Daniela error. A lot of her natural power has gone...I don't really know where Daniela can go from here...especially if she ends the year as badly as this...her ...

Annoyed she's not doing doubles especially with the Olympics next year. She needs to find a Slovak partner asap as Cibulkova and Rybarikova have teamed up and she has more chance of getting to play doubles at the Olympics than singles...

Daniela's playing last on Court 10 - I think there is a stream, but will be a night match most likely as two men's matches and one women's matches before her...

That's actually a pretty good draw...hopefully at least 2nd round but will have to play smart to beat Doi.

Daniela's got Mladenovic first round which I don't think we can complain too much about considering the field and the fact Daniela should really be playing qualifiers. Halep awaits in 2nd so Cincinatti will probably be a short visit however you never know with Daniela she can always surprise us all.
