Two break back points to get one of the breaks back for Venus, but Daniela (based on the stats and a scoreboard) seems to be playing extremely well. Keep it up Daniela. Could we have another dream Eastbourne run to the final on our hands?

We're finally underway. Given Daniela's previous record against Venus, I'm not expecting much. Daniela has already exceeded expectations this week and I hope she enjoys herself, is competitive and doesn't do any further damage to the shoulder.

| I can't watch the match as i'm working:-( If someone could record it no matter what the score I would be really happy! I'm in the same boat. Well well well, saved 5 set points in the tie-break and has managed to take it. After an hour and 20 minutes, six breaks of serve between them and a total of 6 set points saved, Daniela is 1 set to the good.

Daniela now has a chance to serve for it after breaking Li for the third time in this set, but after the topsy turvey nature of this set, I wouldn't be surprised if Daniela was broken back and we had a tie break. Prove me wrong Daniela!

MASSIVE hold for Daniela. Saved a set point, but finally holds serve. So back and forth this set that I have no idea which way it's going as we're near the hour mark of the match.

Daniela gets broken straight back, but her first servce percentage is 37% which is awful. Shoulder injury has to be playing a part in that stat
