I think Dominika saved three match points in the final set tie-break though before eventually losing it so she put up a good fight. Shame because she could have made another run at a high-profile tournament after her good runs at Doha and Amelia Island.

I think the possible 3R match-up between Andy Murray and Rafael Nadal in Rome this week could be interesting. Murray has the skills to push Nadal and give him a tough match. Last year in AO Murray took Nadal to five sets, although with this week's tournament being on clay it won't be easy.

I'm interested to know why you dislike Na Li Carsten? Is it her tattoo?! Na Li has a tattoo :?: Didn't know that. I totally dislike her brainless ballbashing style. There are matches she isn't able to play the ball into the field. The ball's aren't even close to the lines, they are very often 2 or ...

A very tight match in the end between Gonzalez and Bolelli. Gonzalez wins though, 7-6[4] 6-7[4] 6-3. I thought Bolelli might have lost it after the first-set tie-break but he pushed Gonzalez to the end. In Barcelona, Nadal[1] leads Ferrer[2] 6-1 4-6 3-0. At least its a closer match than in Monte-Ca...

Bolelli has lost the opening set too Gonzalez. Chilean leads 7-6[4]. Upset seems unlikely now. Looking at Gonzalez's ranking he could drop way outside the top twenty after next week because he has 350 points to defend in Rome and a very tricky draw this year... 1R - Tipsarevic 2R - Soderling or Qua...

I didn't know about Dominika and Gael. Good that they are playing mixed doubles together at Roland Garros. I went to see Gael play at Roland Garros last year and he seems to be one of the most supported French players out there. Hopefully they can make a good run together. Will Daniela be playing d...

Bryan/Bryan [1] d. Fyrstenberg/Matkowski [7] 6-3 6-2 Comfortable win for the Bryans in Barcelona, Rome up next. Nadal and Ferrer just about to begin play. In Munich, Bolelli leads Gonzalez 5-4 (on serve) Wildcards Berrer and Schuettler take doubles title, defeating Lipsky and Martin in three sets, ...

So honestly nobody cares who will win here. I agree, its a weak field, but i would like to see Marat Safin go far (although I doubt he will win the tournament). Struggled against Berlocq 6-3 3-6 6-4. Michael Berrer in 2R. It should be a win for Safin, but its always difficult to say! Would be expec...

This is a poor calendar if it stays like this for next year. Am i right in thinking that if only 2 top six players are allowed then the tournament has the right to pick the best two (in other words, a player could get consistently turned down from tournaments?)

Useful table Christina! Bartoli's row is interesting! 1,175 points to defend between now and the end of Wimbledon! If she were to lose the majority of those points she would be barely inside the top 30. Hopefully Daniela can be really fit for Roland Garros and build up some points there seen as she...
