Yes Dementieva has played great this year, so def. a favorite as well. But going into her 10th match of the season this night, will she be well rested? And Serena, well, personally I think she tanked the match against Dementieva. I def. do not approve of it, but she is so slam minded, she has the p...

It's probably just as well I didn't get to see the match as the stats and reports don't make great reading, although she had no luck with netcords. When you need a bit of luck, you don't get any. I wonder how different the match could have been if these had gone her way. If Daniela was confident and...

Daniela's done well to break back in the second and get it back on serve. I'm having absolutely no joy getting a live stream. Eurosport isn't mac compatible, justin tv/channelsurfing is giving a Shazza match from last year and atdhe.net is giving nothing from Sydney.

There was never anything in the reports about Portas becoming Daniela's trainer that mentioned her leaving Sanchez Casal. It was in one interview in slovak newspaper, Daniela was cited that she was no longer with the academy. You'd think she'd have said something about it on her website.

A good win for Daniela which should give her a boost in confidence. She's matched her performance from last year and if she can do that at the next tournament that would be nice. Thanks for the report and photos and videos, Bahrain. I based most of my assessment of Zakopalova on her matches against ...

Zakopalova's a good opponent for Daniela's first match as she is someone that Daniela should beat easily enough. Zakopalova doesn't have much power so as long as Daniela doesn't make too many errors, Daniela should win. Because Zakopalova will always try to make Daniela play the extra shot, then it'...

You'll take a qualifier in the first round and this is a match Daniela should win. There isn't anyone particularly special left in qualifying, but the qualifier will have had some wins here and will be used to the conditions, so shouldn't be underestimated. Daniela's level will decide the match and ...

This is a strong field with a lot of elite players and dangerous floaters, so it's going to be difficult for Daniela. This is an important tournament for Daniela as she needs to go into the Australian Open with form and confidence. A good performance here will help and hopefully Daniela can get a de...

Daniela & Ai follow up a great win over one of the top doubles team with a loss to a pairing I'm not as familiar with. Boo! I don't know if this was complacency, an emotional letdown after beating Black & Huber or maybe Jans & Rosolska played really well. Errani's done well here to get t...
