2 hours 47 minutes, and just a 2-1 scoreline in the third set. This is unbelievable!

I never know why Wimbledon always start so late. I mean noon for outside and 1pm for main courts is just asking for trouble. Totally agree. 1pm for Centre is fine given the roof, but play on the outside courts should start at 11:00 when the forecast for the day is poor. But definitely a good outcom...

Even if Daniela were to take a break and not play until Stanford it's unlikely that she'd return in the form that she's shown over the past couple of months. At the moment she's riding a wave. If she is given the OK to play then of course she should, as long as there is no chance of longer-term dama...

This is very, very unfortunate. Daniela has been playing some of the best tennis of her career this year; particularly since Strasbourg. She started strongly against Kvitova and had a very good chance of winning had she not suffered this injury at 3-0 up. Like Strasbourg, it's another unlucky semi-f...

On a side note, is Ivanovic the next Vaidasova? They seem to have similar game plans (mindless ball bashing with no game plan). I think she's a much better player than Vaidisova, and I expect her to win another slam in her career, although it could be several years from now. She doesn't seem like t...

A few years ago they moved the men's Nottingham final indoors, but I think the hall at that site is bigger. Plus they had the pressure of Wimbledon being the following week. I would imagine the organisers will delay the final for as long as possible, but they'll most likely have to finish today beca...

Playing in Birmingham you have to be prepared to play two matches in one day, particularly if you go deep into the tournament. With the weather as it is this week Daniela's matches, if she gets through against Cirstea, will probably pile up towards the latter stages of the week. Her experience shoul...

Daniela played superb today. She had a solid game plan that reflected Wozniacki’s weaknesses on clay, and what is more she EXECUTED it – something that she has struggled to do in the past. Caro didn’t hit a single winner in the opening set which, for a world number 1, is frankly SHAMEFUL. Daniela, i...

danka played pretty good at both matches,i think she has real chance to win tommorow asj pretty big headache for organisers tommorow,3 frenchies (gasquet,tsonga,monfils),djokovic-delpo plus bartoli, wozniacki. But they know they have to have two women's matches, so two of those Frenchies will ...

Organisers are likely to put Bartoli - Goerges on Chatrier. I'd say it's still likely that Daniela - Wozniacki will be on there too, despite the fact that Wozniacki played on the main court yesterday. Stosur - Dulko could be a possibility though. Defending champion Schiavone played on there yesterda...

Bartoli had to retire in the final, so Petkovic takes the win. Missed title opportunity for Daniela this week.
