Yeh it's got to be tough given that she's played well pretty much since the first Fed Cup tie, but her results are not reflecting her level of play, and her ranking certainly isn't reflecting her year so far or her quality...

Stosur wins 6-4 2-6 6-4. A tough loss for Daniela given the momentum she built up during the second set. Total points won: Stosur 86, Daniela 87.

Stosur holds for a 5-3 lead, Daniela now serving to stay in the match. *Daniela has actually won more points than Stosur...*

Stosur saves two break points at 15-40 in game six, but Daniela wins two points from deuce and breaks serve for the first time in the match.

Daniela comes from 15-40 down in the opening game of the second set to hold and take a 1-0* lead. She saved the first break point with a second-serve ace (her second of the match!)

8 of the last 10 points of the set go to Stosur, and she takes it 6-4. They were neck-and-neck up to 4-4...

That all changes in game 9 Daniela loses serve to 15, and Stosur now has the chance to serve for the first set at *5-4.

Well it's 4 games all, they've both won 25 points, and they've both saved 1 break point. Close first set.

Great straight-sets win for Daniela today. Impressive given that: 1. she lost to Dulgheru in 2009, 2. Dulgheru's had some good recent form, and 3. Daniela had such a torrid past weekend. Stosur beat Martinez Sanchez relatively comfortably, but the Aussie has had a pretty horrendous year by her stand...

Two tricky openers for Daniela in both singles and doubles. Dulgheru has played well this year and is particularly strong on the clay. Petkovic has played some good doubles with Ivanovic of late, and Goerges impressed sufficiently to attract the attention of Lisa Raymond, so as a team they will pres...

Hopefully Daniela can have at least one really good tournament on the European clay. The draw for Stuttgart isn't too bad, so certainly potential for a good result next week. As for Madrid and Rome, both will be tough in terms of draws.

Serbia were always going to be the highly-talented floating team this year. Slovak could have drawn Ukraine, or even the USA (without the Williams sisters), but they got unlucky. As I said at the start of the thread, when playing Serbia it's always nice if either Jankovic or Ivanovic is absent. Stil...

What a dreadful final rubber. Perhaps Dominika should have played the doubles alongside Daniela since they've played well together before. Serbia through to the world group, and without having to play Jankovic on day 1. Slovak Republic down to world group II. World Group II 2012 - USA, France, Slova...
