MEH! At least Daniela won the same amount of games she did the last time they played. I really don't think Wozniacki is a good match up for Daniela. I can imagine Wozniacki retrieving a whole lot of balls back and making little to no unforced errors. So I imagine Daniela was trying to force the play...

This is a reasonable field; but with no byes and seeing as Daniela will NOT be seeded for this, she needs a good draw to gain points and much-needed confidence.

YAY!!! A win! Glad I too didn't follow this on the livescore. Take away the first set and it looks like a convincing win. Maybe it was better she wasn't seeded, as now she's gained 50 points for getting into the 2R, as opposed to the 5 points she would have gotten if she was seeded. Let's hope for a...

It's not a bad draw, but then again, Daniela hasn't really been dealt a bad draw this whole year and she hasn't taken advantage, so.... I would love the draw a whole lot more if Azarenka wasn't there, but it's still a long way to even get to there. Focus on 1R first! Don't know much about Oudin, but...

I am so happy for this win. I was at work and could only check the scoreboard every now and then; and everytime I checked, Daniela was down a break.
