Absolutely gutting that Daniela coulnd't pull off the win, but it hasn't exactly been a bad week. Congrats to Lisicki and Daniela should take plenty of confidence from this week into Eastbourne.

Fantastic win for Daniela, especially after coming from a set down. Again could only see the scoreboard but it looks like the third set was comfortable in the end once Daniela had staved off break points on her serve and then got the crucial break in the fifth game of the set. Straight forward 2 & 4 win, well from what I can tell from a scoreboard at work. Lucic or 2nd seed Ivanovic await in the semi finals. Daniela has to feel confident after three straight sets wins of getting to the final here.

Bit of a wobble in the second set towards the end, but another comfortable win. At the moment it's Alison Riske in the firing line for the quarter finals. A set up and currently playing a breaker in the 2nd against the 8th seeded Rezai

It was a shame to see Daniela get knocked out the way she did today, but when you tot up everything from this week it hasn't exactly been a bad week.
