Martinez Sanchez breaks through again, and now leads 6-5. Perhaps she'll stumble again serving for the set. I think I'd favour Daniela in a tie-break. Break point conversion: MS - 3/7 DH - 2/3 Daniela couldn't have done much better on that front. She is just not doing well enough on serve.

match will start in a few minutes My word, court 4 really is a practice court with some frills. Good for spectators though as they can get so close to the action.

Daniela holds, and now has a set and a 5-3 lead. One game away.

I'd certainly rather see Daniela play Martinez Sanchez than Pavlyuchenkova, although given Daniela's recent form I think she would have been the favourite against the Russian anyway. First though it's Dulko. As others have said, Daniela should win this one, and I'd expect a straight-sets win in all ...

Fujiwara's almost 30 and she's never won a match at a slam Now that's a good stat.

Given the strong field, winning one round in an event like this is almost like winning two rounds in some of the other events on the tour. 60 points, a second round, and a competitive match with Maria would be a good enough start to the hard-court season.

Radwanska served poorly. Daniela seemed in good spirits though. Cool when they all walk off court all in white and all with the Wimbledon towels around their necks.

Daniela and Agnieszka are live now on the BBC red button. They've been moved to Centre Court, and the crowds are making their way back in. Should be a good one.

And regarding the roof, I think the organisers are concerned about the fact that if they have a full day's play on centre with it closed and it doesn't actually rain, then that means three winners have player indoors, and the other day's winners have played an outdoor event. Not only does the roof c...

It’s not the most disappointing of results. I beg to differ,it's a slam,it's the one Daniela covets the most, and I don't believe that she has ever gone into Wimbledon in such good form as this year. She even avoided meeting the Williams sisters early on in the draw. Yes I agree she went into this y...

I saw the whole match and Daniela played well. The first set was tight, although the scoreline suggests it was comfortable for Azarenka. Daniela played a solid second set and was also playing well into the third. The rain delay favoured Azarenka massively. To come back at 1-2, 30-30 and attempt to h...

Great play from Daniela going behind Azarenka. 30-15 on her serve. Now 40-15 with a nice volley. The delay certainly didn't help Daniela but she's into her stride now. She's just held. 2-4*.
