I think Kim also has entered China Open. On her day she is definately better than many of the current top-ten players, well many of the current top 10 players are also better than Kim when they have their A-game on. Can someone please explain to me whether Daniela wll qualify for Bali or not??

one of the requirements are to win an international tournament. So right now she hasn't qualified. But there are 2 wild cards given. She might get one of those.

no, Lisicki and Cirstea will not overtake her

projected ranking points:

22 Zheng 1965 (and still playing)
23 Danka 1909
24 Lisicki 1890
25 Cirstea 1866

so she will play a 9-16 in the 3rd round, which is one of Wozniacki, Pennetta, Ivanovic, Petrova, Radwanska, Bartoli, Stosur, Cibulkova

well New Haven have such a weak field, only top10 is Wozniacki, so good chance to get points, but I hope she doesn't tire herself out

and she is getting closer to the top20 again. I have her projected at 1979 points for next week. Cirstea right behind her with 1926 points, Cirstea plays Dementieva for a place in the quarters. Schnyder takes up the 20th spot in the projected ranking with 2127 points. Li number 19 with 2132 points.

SHE DID IT. SHE BEAT ZVONAREVA. Go Danka. What a win, even though it isn't Vera at her best. Beating a player who has been troubling her a lot in the past and a top 10 player. Wuhu
