It's so weird that Daniela's 2007 & 2008 have basically been a repeat of her 2002 & 2003. 2002 & 2007 had a great win at Indian Wells and a rise up the rankings to the top ten, 2003 & 2008 started with a great run at the Australian Open followed by Daniela losing her Indian Wells tit...

Well done Dominika for being Slovak Player of the Year. She had a very good year and had some great wins.

Melzer must of a hell of a personality off court.

Djokovic was the best player at the start of the year, then Nadal was the best, Federer was the best when he won the US Open, then Murray was the best but Djokovic was the best at the end. Whoever winning's the best. If Djokovic had beaten Tsonga he'd be number 2, but he chilled in the third set so ...

One thing that gets on my tits about Gerrard is that he always bangs on about how disgraceful it is when other players dive but he's one of the biggest divers. It's his holier-than-thou hypocrisy. I'm going to pay £/€/$ 1 million whatever's smallest to the next referee that books Gerrard for diving ...

A big shock for me was that Radek Stepanek was the first alternate and he was 26th in the race. I'd have thought that someone higher ranked would want to turn up but evidently it's a very long season and they're all knackered or preparing for the Davis Cup or next year, although Ferrer has a lot of ...

Brisbane's a good tournament for Daniela to start the year as it gets her used to the conditions in Australia and get some ranking points before the Australian Open. Hopefully she can go on a run there and get some confidence and set herself up for a good year.
