Well, I'm glad she made it through!

I don't expect her to get through Garbiñe; as much hit and miss she is, her level is still way of ahead of Daniela. Our Dani can be as hit and miss as she is... hope Daniela finds her form from the first match of the year.

So the good form lasted one match and one set... ugh, Daniela.

I'll just hang in there and take every win as a nice surprise.

I hope she has the chance to get some form again... I was so hopeful after that 1st round.

Is she scheduled for another tournament pre-AO?

That is very disappointing... This was a very beatable opponent. Urzula didn't do anything special in the second set other than staying somewhat consistent, but Daniela's game just regresed, especially her bh; I imagine the 3rd was the same.

6-1 first set, very in control and fending off bps with great winners. Second set filled with UE and less than stellar serve, down 1-4 now. Come one daniela! So many misfires, the composure of the 1st set is lost 2-5 now... damn Loses 2nd set 3-6, she's even getting aced by little Radwanska. I'm goi...

I am so happy she seems so motivated!

Do we like her chances against Radwanska's little sister? If she plays like R1, she should cruise, but yeah, Daniela is not know for carrying her form from match to match. New year new patterns? 8-)

Oh god, no, injury is the worst thing that could happen to her career at the moment.

And she seems to have been playing much better these last few matches.

SAY IT ISN'T SO!!

I'm quite liking daniela having to face tough opposition here. I think it might allow her to regain some form, since she has barely had the chance to meet decent players this year due to her abysmal play. Makes me hopeful for 2015. So what is this Carlos Rodriguez thing? Is it just off-season traini...

Hey guys, long time no see. I love that Daniela seems to be having a great time with the Slammers, even if playing very little and not succeeding much (loved that picture with the girls on the plane). When can these matches be watched? chungwit , I respect all of your dedication in supporting Daniel...

It's so sad to see this horrible year. I think it has been the worst since I became a fan, not a single encouraging moment or victory this year. I really really hope she finds something in the off-season to keep it going.

It's tough to see Daniela being a bye these days.

I think Daniela has not find her stride in doubles since the Sugiyama years. I do wish they had gotten that Australian Open; the pairing up with Agnieska seemed really encouraging though, but of course that couldn't last.

She played some brilliant tennis at times, but when it most mattered she would revert back to horrible shot selection and silly errors (that DF to get broken was too much)... she got herself in winning positions many times to only mess up with an UE. While I understand she is human, she was up a bre...
