I didnt see enough of the match to be give much of an opinion. Obviously it is annoying that Daniela lost, but Azarenka is the number four seed and for a reason, so I cannot be too disappointed. Daniela, considering her injuries, done the minimum required and I'm happy with that. A little frustrati... |

Stopping for rain at 30-30 is a bit of a pain because Daniela will need to come out and be on it straight away, because if she loses the first point it's break point and pressure is really on, but it does give Daniela some time to recharge, speak to her coach and get the trainer to patch her up. As... |

After saving three or four break points, Azarenka gets the early break, only for Daniela to go 0-40 and after missing out on the first two break points she breaks at the 3rd attempt. I'm almost glad I only have a scoreboard to entertain myself. This is what the BBC website has said about Azarenka; ... |

This time last year I had a computer that supported flash, so I could watch Wimbledon to my hearts content (while doing work, of course). This year, new department, new desk, new computer, no flash :'( Will have to make do with live text and scoreboards. After Daniela's two contrasting matches thus... |

Quite surprised this is on, but unless one of them demolishes the other then this won't finish today Scott I was pretty much spot on with that summation, fortunately it was Daniela that demolished Erakovic. Nice, simple, unexpectedly so, win which was exactly what the doctor ordered. She'll get alm... |

I've got to say that this is one of Daniela's gutsiest ever wins. She showed her desire and an absolute refusal to lose and she kept fighting and dug out the win. That seems to be the theme of Daniela's grass court season to date. Let's hope she gets some good rest now and is late on tomorrow to gi... |

Daniela wins in THREE HOURS AND 25 MINUTES!! Great heart shown by Daniela to stay with it, especially with her injuries. How much will this match have taken out of her, though, with her second round match scheduled for tomorrow?

Though it's not quite over, the feeling of relief comes to mind with Daniela sitting at 5-1 in the 3rd. A three hour plus match is the last thing Daniela would have wanted with her injuries, but at least she looks like she will get the win, after saving match points as well. I hope she's on late to... |

Is it me or is this match going at a very slow pace or are there a stupid amount of dueces? It's been over an hour and it's only 5-4

Just seen the weather report myself and it does look like Daniela may well play today. Not discounting Diatchenko, but Daniela 'should' be able to beat her even with a slight injury. With shoulder and abdominal injuries, the aim of the match should mainly be to get through without doing any further... |
