She is confirmed for Marrakech and imo could try Katowice. Charleston is also an option but has a slightly stronger field and it's not sure that Daniela would receive a wild card. As for Miami, Daniela could have beaten Bencic had she avoided some sloppy errors in key moments and if she had been mor...

Welcome back, martin, I hope you're going to be back a lot more. Thank you, my interest in tennis has returned somewhat. I followed Daniela's results in 2010-2014, but was not too thrilled about it. It's her Pattaya win what re-sparked my interest in tennis. That and the recent success of Safarova,...

Most of the Czech/Slovak girls engage in a small talk if they meet somewhere, I would not read too much into it. Being on the tour is a lonely business and I know how hard it can be to be alone or with just one other person for a longer period of time. These small talks with other people are a welco...

Yes, Klara has been absolutely terrible sinking as low as to 86th place in the rankings. However, Daniela is rather unpredictable these days. She plays well in Pattaya, but rarely anywhere else. Anyway, with Klara, you know she is a player Daniela can beat. Keys is coming off an injury, so her form ...

Daniela's obviously afraid not to hurt the foot again. She will get better eventually.

CZE and Greece to advance. Pretty good performance against Poland, especially in 2nd half. Surprised to see Greece sending Russia home, but this group was very even, anyone could have advanced. Now I hope that Rosicky's injury gets better and he will be able to play in QF.

Good win, even though Pennetta has not been in top form this year. Bartoli on the other hand has, so it's gonna be tough despite the H2H.

I remember Daniela struggling against Vinci in the past, am I wrong? Regardless, I believe it's a good draw. SF to defend, let's go Daniela.

Tak posledních několik týdnů se Daniele nebývale daří proti špičkovým hráčkám a konečně též dokázala porazit i Venus Williams, a to na trávě, což se počítá dvojnásob. Kéž by jí to vydrželo co nejdéle a přidala další trofeje do sbírky.

Very good win, I only saw the first two sets which weren't too convincing. I thought Daniela's serve (maybe caused by minor shoulder injury she struggles with) and especially return game wasn't pretty, but it seems the rain helped her a lot as she destroyed Ivanovic afterwards. Lisicki is unpredicta...

A bit shaky in last few games, but ultimately gets the job done. First ever win over reigning world number one for Daniela, good for her that she got one and after an amazing display of skill to boot.

Daniela averages about 168 km/h on 1st serve now which is a major improvement since her 155 km/h days. Similar with the 2nd serve where she is above 130 km/h. Was about time to improve this given her height.
