not surprised but it's still difficult to accept that it is over for good. No chance of a last surprise-run. She gave me so many good tennis-memories, especially Indian Wells 2007 and the 2006 Australian Open match against Serena. If i could chance one match in her career, it would be the 2008 Austr... |

Well Hogstedt found Wozniacki. Interesting IMO. He did a good job with Maria, and to be honest, he can't make Caroline any worse. If she allows proper coaching and no daddy, I can see this as a very positive move for her. I hadn't heard the rumor about Dementieva being a coach. Should be interesting... |

So Bartoli was 14-12 this year and hadn't won in a year and a half. Hope springs eternal! Now, since Mr. Completelymadeupname liked this on FB, I'll redo it here. It's the basic midpoint of the season, and looking back on the first half (I shall leave the negative viewpoint of it to the Cocktail Pa... |

That AO doubles match against Black/Huber was all kinds of amazing. They saved like 6 MP and won. Pity they couldn't win the whole thing.
my favorite doubles match of all time. Love that 3rd set. |

I think daniela should reconsider what tournaments she plays. She needs to win matches, not get trashed by the top ten. I know she is proud, but she needs to build some form. she can't really skip IW. It's mandatory for all who is qualified by ranking, and she was. But in general, you are right. Sh... |

EDIT wickmayer has withdrawn and they've moved lisicki to play flipkens so winner of that will be danielas potential 2nd round opponent...lisicki is tougher than wickmayer..
since the Olympics, Lisicki has won 1 match. Lost last week to Mayr, 61 63, she's not as tough as she used to be |

Since start of 2006, all but one of the 26 grand slams have been been won by Federer, Nadal or Djokovic. In contrast, counting tomorrow's Wimbledon final, seven different women will have won the last seven Grand Slams. And since 2006, thirteen different women have won the 26 Grand Slams. Also in co... |

yes a lot of drama on ATP. My boyfriend and I recently had a conversation about the stability of the ATP top compared to the WTA top. How Djokovic, Nadal, Federer (and Murray) always reach the SF and how big the gap is to the next level of players, though this level is really consistent as well. And... |
