I know who I would prefer her playing in R32. Also Safina would be nice. Mainly because I want Safina out as fast as possible and Daniela to advance as far as possible. It would just be lovely to see those two wishes combined I have a bigger list of who I would prefer her NOT to play in R32 as oppo...

the reason for this forum being better is that "we care". On the official site you have some communication or other educated guys who get paid to do websites. Here, you have real fans of Daniela, maintaining a website and forum in their free-time, and paying for it. Caring can go a long w...

I don't think Daniela would have won against Zvonareva.

I agree with you Christina. I don't think Daniela will even take a set from Zvonavera.

I'd also have to agree.

Seeing Razzano win against Zvonareva makes me feel a fair bit better.

This was another disappointing tournament in an extended series of them for Daniela. Her two wins against weak opposition were not the kind that suggest real optimism for the future (unlike the win last week v. Makarova). And certainly losing to a mediocre player like Razzano is another underwhelmi...

I didn't get to watch the score board. Just saw the result. Pretty disappointing. Don't really wanna comment on it. Lol.

Razzano was in great form towards the end of 2007, beating Venus Williams in the final of Tokyo, but since then shes gone off the boil. The win over Safina is because of a 'bad day' from the world number 2. I don't think Razzano will bring much to the court tomorrow, and if Daniela is consistent sh...

It's a match that Daniela should win on paper tomorrow, but i'm not sure what Razzano's form is like. As in, i'm not sure if her win over Safina was because of solid play or Safina going off the boil. In any case it's a match Daniela has a major chance to win. Let's just hope she produces some good ...

Woohoo! 5-2 and Daniela is serving for it *fingers crossed*

EDIT: Yay! She served it out.

Wth has happened to the score board?

Good fight back from Daniela in that first set :D

EDIT: Yeah, score board seems to be totally screwed. Mine's now showing the score from early in the first set XD

I totally agree. I see her as a top-fifteen player for sure, maybe even as high as 9 or 10, but I don't like the fact that she is now a top-five player and has the same career high ranking as Daniela. I just remember some statistic about her performance against top 10 players and it was really poor...

The problem is Vera Zvonareva is in cruise control (won in Pattaya City and has just beaten wildcard Dushevina 6-0 6-3), so I can't at the moment see Daniela getting past this stage (but 200 points from a quarter-final finish would be very nice indeed).[/b] I can't for the life of me understand how...

Razzano leads Safina 6-4 2-0. Could it be another surprising result
on Daniela’s benefit like Morita did yesterday ?

I was just about to make the same post. Hopefully Daniela plays well regardless of the result of this match.
