| Match point Daniela... And she takes it! A really good win, coming back from a first set thumping to take the match 2-6 6-2 6-1. Dinara Safina or Yaroslava Shvedova up next in the quarter-finals. I'm really hoping she'll play Safina. She'd go in with no pressure and would probably play good tennis.... |

| Let's pray for a withdrawal of the seeds. Mind you wimbledon may give Sharapova a seed for Wimbledon. not possible. | I didn't manage to watch the end of the second set but it was pretty clear that Daniela's only real short coming was her execution. What comes to mind in particular was when she had set/break points at 5-4 up in the first and was in control of points, which she ultimately lost due to wayward errors.... |
