Azarenka now serving at 15-40. A break for Daniela here would surely give her the match. Let's not put the cart before the horse...anything can happen. A good regroup from Dani in the 3rd, after going down 0-2. She should have challanged that break point in the second game, the ball looked long but...

[quote="eddy"] I give a lot more respect to wozniacki now last year didn't she win montreal and then new haven or something back to back. Pretty impressive stuff to be able to do that. I wouldn't give too much respenct to wozniacki, I mean its not that difficult to sit and wait for your op...

Daniela finally won. I will say I was totally confused at the end. Every scoreboard was wrong, Vera was arguing. Wow. Glad she won, it was a great match.

Awesome point to break back. Seems more patient, picking her spots.

She's using Prince again. Her serve is pretty good. I did see a glimmer of hope in some of her serving at this year's AO.

So, can we say that Adidas outfit is jinxed? Ivanovic lost in a similar matter. Long hard fought match that extender to 10-8 in the last set. Daniela, rest and get welll :) I saw the AI lost this am and it made me feel somewhat better about Dani's loss. And then I saw the score of Dinara and Kim C ...

Honestly not sure what to say...should she have won...yes...did she beat herself...kind of. I didn't have many expectations going into the AO with the recent injury. I watched the match yesterday and Dani should have won in two sets, but tennis is a tough game, a diff shot here and there and its a w...

She's doing an awful lot of stretching. It is important that she hold here in the third.

Pervak thrashed Chakvetadze, Kvitova beat Petrova, and Pennetta has withdrawn (replaced by McHale). All in all after the first round, a relatively easy quarter! And Pavlyuchenkova and Safarova (both beatable) left in the very bottom quarter, and Stosur out in the top half! Shame Daniela couldn't ha...

Based on those pics, it looks as if she did indeed change rackets for this year. Regardless of how deep she could have gone in the tournament what is important is that she remains fit. It would be a disservice for her to play and possibly get further injured giving her something else to think about ...
