| I watched only the third set. When Dani lost the game at 5-4 (which she was serving) i wondered if she could recover. Thank God, she did. It was a kind of miracle that she won having 26 UE while Tamarine had 8 !!! Jankovic is a different story, she is far superior player to Tamarine but we can alway... |

I just watched another Dani's studio interview from Beijing.
There were fans in the studio and she answered to their questions.
For once more, she admitted that (physically speaking) she is not 100% ready.
I certainly hope that tomorrow she will have enough strength to beat Tamarine. |

| An unexpected result imo, but i think its better for Dani this way. She is better player than Tamarine, she has one day of rest and she must feel very good after the easy victory against Gisela. On the other hand, this is all theory. Dani has to prove on court that she can win again a few games in a... |

Dani has a 7-0 record against Srebotnik and 2-1 against Tanasugarn.
If i could choose an opponent though, i would choose Tanasugarn... |

I guess she has to work harder during off-season and be
prepared for AO 2009.
Besides, there are a few tournaments left until the end of the
season, she has to earn something out of them... |

A few years ago Dani was No 52 ( if i remember well ) and she managed to reach No 8.
She did it once, she can do it again. Talking about the new season, i think its a kind of challenge. I mean, i am very curious to see how she will react playing top 10 players at early rounds. |

What a game that is, i wish i could watch it live rather than sitting on an office desk. It could be easily the final game
of the tournament. Yet, it is only a 1/8 final.
I guess that proves the high level of this tournament... |

| I thought that the referee at Old Trafford was very bad, dut you should take a look at what happened at Glasgow ( Celtic v Aalborg ). The referee ( his name is Trefoloni, i think ) gave red card to the wrong guy !! After 80 minutes of play, Michael Jacobsen gave Samaras a hard tackle but the referre... |

That German referee last night at Old Trafford must have been blind or something, but i guess it’s a part of the game and i should not complain...
