What a day of tennis! 2 ridiculously exciting matches, with the winner coming from a break down in the final set in each semi-final. BTW Jana has done all this without her coach this week(he went back to Slovakia after Miami). I wish Daniela would try playing a tournament without a coach for once-she...

Disappointing match from Daniela last night, but thrilled with the week overall, just getting the back-to-back wins will do wonders for her confidence.

Hopefully the start of a fine clay-court season.

A wins a win. But not pleasant to watch, still miles off her best unfortunately.

Serve seems to have gone to pot since the knee injury-making only 41% of your first serves is simply not going to get the job done.

Madison hits hard flat bombs and was making 63% of her first serves-there was the match right there.

Just reading on Spanish media that Ricardo Sanchez had to have surgery on a herniated disc and will be out of action for 4 months,so that probably explains the sudden coaching change.

Was Dani going to Dubai or Rio this week without the injury? No word yet on if she will need surgery, at least that I can find. It's always hard when she's not out there. I just hope Daniela will soon once again be the Fox On The Run. (Won't that be Sweet!?) She withdrew from the Dubai qualif...

Terrible news. You knew it was gong to be bad though- the knee had locked up completely by the time she retired against Ana,and more often than not that will be the result of a tear.

Here' hoping for a full recovery as soon as possible.

This is awful in every possible way. I just hope the injury isn't too bad, but given the luck Daniela's had over the past few years it probably will be. I got the match from 5-3 and Ivanovic won the two games fairly easily to get to 5-5. The next game was pretty long with lots of deuces although Da...

Figures that Slovakia would draw the one team who cared enough about Fed Cup to send out a quality team.

Kerber played really well this weeknd-credit where it's due.

Didn't see the match, but that stats suggest that Nestor/Kiki played an excellent match,so kudos to them.

Time for Paris.

A 180 you mean? 8-) And I don't know, I don't see many differences with Daniela this year. But yeah, maybe the serve is a bit better. Yup,nothing's really changed so far this year. And outside of the clutch serving, that's as poor a performance as I've seen Serena play. She was shanking so many ball...
