FINALLY won that first set! Not watching the match and just relying on the scoreboard, I really do feel that first set should have been easier. Not winning when she was game or break point up made that set harder than it should have been, but at least she's got it in the bag. Now on to a more convin...

what the hell Daniela... 5-4 40-0 (3 set points) and you can't win one point to take the set.
This set should have been put away 20mins ago, and it should have been won 6-1 or 6-2.

Ugggh... can we please have a match where we don't have to worry or stress about your chances of winning.

The draw is out!!! First Round against Wildcard Stefanie Voegele (SUI). If she wins that first round, potential second round against either Peer or Chakvetadze, and if she gets through that, most likely third round opponent is Safina link here: http://www.barclaysdubaitennischampionships.com/4/draws...

Yeah, I agree. Daniela's website does have a nice layout and is aesthetically pleasing, but that's it. - No regular updates. - Some incorrect information. - Lack of moderated boards (at last I checked, 95% of the topics were porn related). It would be nice to have some journal entries, more multimed...

What also sucks is that she's been given some pretty decent draws as well. Brisbane, Sydney, AO and now Paris, she was given quite decent draws. She certainly didn't draw any of the big players and could have really worked her way into the draw and gotten a couple of, at least, QF placings. With her...

 Another hard match to swallow. Total repeat of Melbourne. She was serving and playing sooo well in that first set, and just couldn't reproduce that excellent form in the second and third. She goes down a double break in that second set, claws her way back to put the games on serve, and then ju...

Thanks so much for the video Christina, and Martin for those links. Highly appreciated. Everyone was right, Daniela was playing well. Hope she can keep it up against Cornet. On a side note, I wish they would change the color of the courts; it's quite hard following where the ball is going, especiall...

I wish I could have watched this match. From everyone's report, it sounds like Daniela is playing well again. I felt this was a tricky match as Makarova had played well against Dementieva and Safina in Australia, so Daniela's 6-2, 6-2 win sounds impressive; and by some reports I've read, it's mostly...

i noticed Pat Etcheberry was sitting next to Daniela during Domi's match, i guess they continue working together, so no more Marco Panichi ? I always thought he stayed working with her , cause he isn't from the Sanchez-Casal academy, but i guess not... Not sure about this, but I swear I saw Marco P...

Great fight from Daniela in that first set. The pessimist in me was nervous she was going to get broken after getting back on serve at 5-4, but she came away with an easy service game to level it at 5-5, and didn't look back at all. Minor stumble at 4-2 second set, but I didn't feel she was going to...

So after Fed Cup, her next tournament is Dubai, then Indian Wells and Miami???

So most likely only 3 tournaments before the clay court season in April??? Awww... I want more Daniela!

Poor Fed. He definitely wanted this one so badly. Such a shame that there could only be one winner. Roger really had his chances in that crucial third set, but Rafa was just relentless, and really didn't give Fed any cheap points. Fed won more points than Rafa in the end, but Rafa won the crucial po...

So no surprises as Serena won again. Is it me, or is the WTA tour just full of patterns!?!? I'm sure it's all coincidence, but I can't help but find the following patterns, very interesting: - Serena wins AO in odd years: 03, 05, 07, 09 - Sharapova wins Indian Wells and Linz in 2006; Daniela wins In...

Uggh. Don't get me started on that a-hole Todd Woodbridge. All he does is criticise Daniela and basically blames her everytime for Ai losing her service game. Even when he does the commentary for Bali, he always rips into Daniela's game and criticises it. I actually don't mind Todd Woodbridge. I th...
