very low level from both now. Clijsters with stupid errors, Daniela with 2 dfs. 8th deuce in this game. but finally some good shots again, and Daniela reaches tiebreak... |

easy game for clijsters to 6-6 tiebreak: 1-0, 1-1, 1-2, 1-3, 1-4, 2-4, 2-5, 3-5, 4-5, 4-6,4-7 and 1st set 7-6 to clijsters,she plays a little bit more aggressive.. poor dani... |

Poor Daniela, she really deserved that set...4-1 up with 2bps was so important. Daniela needs to stay positive and try and get as much as possible out of this second set - podme! |

Standard of tennis much better now. Would love this to go to three sets, Daniela deserves that at least.. Clijsters calls for trainer..hmmm not liking the timing of this as Daniela was playing a lot better  Tennisforum is going to go mental over this and say Daniela can only win big matches through retirements or something! Daniela was playing pretty awesome in the 2nd set so Hopefully Clijsters is OK for Melbourne, she's a really nice person. Daniela gave such a great interview afterwards, a true sweetheart. "it was a privilege to play against Kim today, and I really hope she'll be fit for AO". |

Kim's medical time out was no tactical trick, as she just had to quit the match. Daniela wins by retirement 6-7 3-1 A bit lucky, but not totally undeserved, as it was a good match and both of them were on the same level. All the best for Kim! |

Clijsters has some problems with a tigh or leg Well, its pity it ended like this... but Daniela is finaly lucky a bit in this way. She didn't have wins like this in the past like other players. Shes in final. QF wakover... now SF. Well, at least she is in final and can get motivated for a trophy That is a good preparation for AO.edit: Another trophy would be nice  Come on Daniela!

Well when I wished Daniela good luck for her match,that wasn't the sort of luck I had in mind. I hope Kim is OK for Melbourne. She seems to be playing well enough-it's concerning that she gagged that first set when Kim seemed to be trying to hand it to her,but I'm pleased with her overall level and her serve. A final to start the season! Do your best Daniela.

so dani will have a look the the 2nd semi final, hope it will be kanepi I'm hoping for Schiavone,she and Daniela usually have great matches. |

It's hard to say who I'd like Daniela to play in the final. Kanepi has the bigger shots and serve but Schiavone the movement. Either way it'll be tough..i predict Schiavone to win against Kanepi. EDIT How wrong was I, but Schiavone had the doctor on. I just hope that tomorrow the winner of the match wins by winning and not by a retirement! Good luck tomorrow Daniela! |

mh i will prefer schiavone now ^^ kanepi has some good shots. but no matter who will win, would be good if it is a long match with 3 sets
