so here we go, daniela starts to serve :)

1st set
1-0. 1 DF, 2 BP but daniela holds with her 2nd GP
2-0. daniela breaks to 0 !
3-0. daniela holds to love and hits her 1st ace
3-1. pennetta holds
4-1. 2nd DF and 2nd Ace, holds to 30
4-2. pennetta holds with 2 aces to 15
5-2. daniela holds to 15
5-3. pennetta holds over deuce
6-3. 3rd DF but daniela holds to 15 and gets 1st set 6-3 :) yeah! come on! please hold this!


2nd set
0-1. pennetta holds to 30
0-2. daniela gets broken to 30...
1-2. danielas breaks back to 15
2-2. daniela holds and saves 1 BP
2-3. pennetta holds to 30
3-3. daniela holds to 15
4-3. daniela breaks to 15
5-3. daniela 40-0 up and takes her 3rd GP

but wasted a lot of MP...but it is not Dani if we were not going to have heart attack :)

GL against Marion..will be a tough match but I hope Dani will improve her 1st serve

Good win, even though Pennetta has not been in top form this year. Bartoli on the other hand has, so it's gonna be tough despite the H2H.

That's a great win for Daniela. Straight sets is definitely unexpected. Into the third round, and in the process gaining plenty of ranking points. Bartoli is not an easy match-up given her form this spring/summer (very good results at RG, Wim, Stanford), but it's a better opponent for Daniela than say Sharapova or Azarenka.

A good win by Daniela and it keeps her momentum going after a bit of a stall in Toronto. This is the sort of match that Daniela needs to win to get into the top 20 and she won it in straight sets. Her stats are good and she won a lot of the clutch points and came back strongly when Pennetta made a run at the start of the second set.

0-1. 30-0 up, but daniela got broken to 30
1-1. daniela breaks back with her 2nd BP, 2 DF's for bartoli
2-1. daniela saves 2 BP's to hold
2-2. bartoli holds to 0
3-2. 1st ace and daniela holds to 0
3-3. bartoli holds to 0 with her 1st ace
4-3. daniela holds to 0
5-3. yeah! daniela takes the 2nd BP and breaks to 15
