It's unfortunate that Daniela had to met JJ in this kind of a mood - such a massive chance of a semi final showing for the winner of this match. JJ just seems unstoppable.

Damn, so many wasted oportunities. Even in the last game, that put-away netted and then two awful mistakes.

You're right, 4th is good. Props to Jelena, she stayed solid, took her chances and didn't let daniela back.

Done and dusted.

JJ served so well today. Whenever she needed a free point she got one. Daniela on the other hand served pretty poorly. I maintain that Daniela's serve is really what's holding her back from solidly heading back up the rankings. She served some aces earlier on in the tournament but she never has any long-lived success with it. Hopefully it fires in some fashion come Wimbledon because she's gunna need it if she intends to defend her points.

I guess all in all it was a good tournament though. If someone had said to me that Daniela would make the 4th round of RG i don't think i would have believed them. She had some very solid wins this week and that has to be congratulated. She also lost to a player who played some pretty flawless tennis.

Rest up, Daniela.

Sucks that she lost, Jankovic made hardly any mistakes and defended excellently. Hopefully if Daniela gets a good draw at wimbledon she should go far there.

Annoyingly, one of my friends who doesn't know anything about tennis put a bet on for Jankovic to win just to spite me, so I had to watch the match with him cheering Jankovic on after every point. What a dick!

Back to Daniela, she looked pretty pissed at the end of the match, she had a few break point chances in that first set, and that kinda changed the match when she didn't take them...

I reckon semis will be Jankovic vs Serena, Petrova vs Wozniacki and I think Serena vs Wozniacki final, with Serena winning in 3.

She was never going to beat Jankovic again, I know that; nonetheless, she played like crap from the moment she missed the breakpoint on JJ's serve. She's never going to get anywhere near the Top 10 again, if she keeps folding like this against Top 10 players.

Disappointing result today, especially considering her results on clay against Jankovic, but I can't be too disappointed all things considered. I havent been able to catch much, if any, of her run here but the results look pleasing and seeing as i havent had the internet for a while I havent had a chance to catch up on all your posts. Hopefully Daniela will come away from this with a bit of confidence, what I did get to see was encouraging and now going from her worst surface to her favourite hopefully will see an upturn in results that could push her back into the top 20.

Disappointing to see Daniela's game disappear down the toilet after the time violation warning. She never seems to learn that you can't afford to get distracted in these moments.

Fine tournament nonetheless.

From wta website: "Hantuchova is the only player left in the draw who is yet to concede a set"

Nice stat there, but from the other half of the draw Wozniacki and Pennetta didn't lose a set until 4th round either.

What does worry me is that Daniela is ranked 25th in the world now, and as she isn't entering Birmingham will not be seeded the bracket 17-24 seeds, which could means for Wimbledon, she would draw in the 3rd round the top 1-8 players, ie she could draw either Venus or Serena in 3rd round. This SUCKS!

Disappointing exit in RG. But 4th round is better than I expected after the tough losses in Rome and Madrid. I think Daniela has never played so good on red clay as she did during the last week.
Also disappointing fact, that Daniela reached the 4th round of a GS without loosing a set and then get completely out of her game by a ridiculous "time warning".
Moreover, as a SF would have been possible.

But I'm already looking forward to the grass season now. After a 4th round on her least favourite surface, hope for a deep run in Wimbledon now.
