serving for the match

.
.
yesssssssssssssss

6:1, 6:3

 great win in an hour and 5 minutes

__________

well, Im satisfied with her performance

Kanepi wasnt playing her best, lots of UE and didnt serve so well, but Daniela was playing well, moving well and kept her UE low, I think... and she wasnt overpovered at all as everyone predicted....

Nice confident win for Dani.

That was a good, easy win by Daniela. She was solid, her groundstrokes and touch were generally good, she was consistent and she didn't have any lapses like she did yesterday. Admittedly, Kanepi wasn't up too much but Daniela did what she had to do.

Daniela Hantuchova is right about everything.

Good solid second win from Daniela. It seems like she's really playing herself into some good form. This can only mean good things for IW. I'm pretty optimistic of a victory against Vania. She's never really troubled her in the past, and recent meetings Daniela has been pretty dominant. Semi finals here we come! (hopefully)

BAMMMM, this result rocks :D
didn't see the match, but everything seems fine.

I guess night matches with a larger crowd are better for her, so it's good that her match is third.

Good to see her level has picked up. Hopefully she will keep up the consistency against Vania.

"I played better than I did in my first match," Hantuchova said. "I made fewer mistakes and moved well, and I'm happy with the win. It was also a completely different opponent compared to my first round, hitting very hard." @

"The conditions were tough because it was very windy," Daniela said afterwards, "but I played very solid and focused from the beginning to the end and I'm happy I was able to win in straight sets.
"The fans are so nice to me here and treat me so well, very supportive... I almost feel like I'm playing at home. It's my first time playing in Mexico and I'm so glad I came. I'm having a great time and it has been a very nice experience so far!" @http://www.danielahantuchova.com/news.html?id=403

"I played from the beginning of the game very solid and concentrated. The match against Kanepi I enjoyed because I've mentioned in our first duel in Indian Wells in 2007 when I won my second favorite tournament. I waited, it will be difficult because Estónka game silový, physical tennis. Today I nepustila but it practically useless. Conditions in Monterrey is difficult, there is a high altitude and fly ball enough. I tried to play patiently and unnecessarily invented what brought me fruit," said Hantuchova , which is expected to struggle against the King demanding.

"While I am with her 2-0 record, but it is a talented player who is progressing steadily. Certainly it can not be underestimated and I will try to impose my game. It's for me another good test before Indian Wells," said Hantuchova, who on Commenting possible semifinal with derby Slovak Cibulkova noted.

"In Dominica, we have not yet tired of this theme, each concentrating on its games. We both have to cope with one obstacle," zakončila Hantuchova. @ google translation.

Daniela Hantuchova is right about everything.

Well she kept to my prediction, poor performance followed by a more convincing one and it couldn't have got more convincing than that. On that basis then, if the pattern continues, tonight might end up being a tough slog for Daniela but as I said before Vania King isn't a the most terrifying of opponents, but she still has to be beaten and hopefully Daniela's confidence is up after last nights win and she can produce the same performance here in the Quarter Finals.

Well played dani. Although I only saw the 2nd set. She seems to have a lot of purpose to her shots. She's playing similar standard to how she was playing in kolkata back in 2007. Hope she can progress and make the semis at least.
