set for the French woman... as expected. Danka way too inconsistent. And Razzano played good enough, blasting FHs... danka didnt held once

Shit, that's the first set gone. Daniela hasn't even held serve, it just seems like an ugly match.

I hate it when people quote typos for posterity before I can correct them.

there have been a few nice exchanges... danka makes a DF on GP

broken again in a very long game, dont see how daniela can do something. She making errors left, right and centre when she has a chance... 0-1

How did Daniela play in the 1st set. It's hard to believe that she faced so many breakpoints (11) while having 81% of first serves in.

How did Daniela play in the 1st set. It's hard to believe that she faced so many breakpoints (11) while having 81% of first serves in.
She started good... and then Razzano started stepping in. Daniela's serve, even the 1st, wasnt doing anything. Virgine just blasted them and put danka in defense. And then the ball found Razzano's FH, and that was it... And of course, daniela started to make more and more UEs...

Basically danka had to play very deep and accurate, and she did not...

After 40-0, she is now 40-30

deuce... after having 3 GP...

Razzano is a tough nut to crack, bad match up for Daniela, pretty much like any ballbasher.

Finally a hold although to have gone from 40-0 to having to save BPs shows what a struggle it must have been. Still, it's a foothold in the match.
