Daniela is now 3-0 up, with a double break. Cornet is clearly no match for Daniela at the moment, winning just 3 of 12 games.

Well Cornet has just broken back, so Daniela has just the single break lead now, but I'm hoping that is going to be enough to close out this match. If Cornet wins this second set, and if history repeats itself, then she will win the match too, so its key that Daniela wins this in two.

A good effort from Daniela to break straight back again after having her run of games halted. She followed it up with a comfortable service game, and then another break of Cornet's serve to take the match 6-3 6-1!
A really good result for Daniela, and now into the second round to play world number 1 Safina!
Although Safina hammered Errani in the first round I would like to think Daniela has a chance, especially since she has beaten Safina in the past. It looks as though Daniela is playing really well on the clay, which gives us alot of hope for Roland Garros and for when she gets back onto her favoured surfaces such as the grass.

Regardless of how well Cornet is playing. This is a really great win. She beat her comprehensively. She took nearly all of her break point opportunities and managed to hold serve consistently (she was only broken once, when she had a double break lead in the second -- i'm assuming a loss of concentration). Do we dare say Daniela is back in town? Lol.

Aww yeah Danka.. That is so impressive.
Last Saturday she needed 3 set to win against Cornet but today she only needed 2 set and finally destroy Cornet with 6-3 6-1. :lol:

She will against Safina in the next round. I'm sound nervous. I hope that match will be showing on Eurosport.
