Checking the score afterwards is a much more relaxing experience than following the livescore. I don't think that second set would have increased my peace too much, especially all the missed matchpoints, but when you check it afterwards, there's no frustration or stress, just satisfaction.

Daniela seems to have played well in the first set and won it by the margin that good players normally win sets against Parmentier by, although the quality of play deteriorated in the second and it was an errorfest and a dogfight. Thankfully, Daniela got through it in straight sets. Her desire and fighting spirit got her the win.

In the first set, Daniela was dominating on her first serve, but in the second she was winning only 50% of her first serves and relying on her second serve to get her out of trouble, or at least not get her into more trouble. Her conversion rate on bps and mps wasn't great, but she won the last point of the match.

Mind you, Daniela needed 7 mps to beat Schnyder here last year and played amazingly in her next match against Bartoli.

i don't think Sabine is a good 2nd Round opponent for Danka. She has a good serve and some great ground strokes, a bit like a mini-vaidisova, and we all know Danka's record against Vaidisova.

I hope she can pull out a win.
