Well, at least she can train her mentality, how to prepare herself when she has to face top players too often. With such a bad luck with the draw like that, she is 90% out of top 20 at the end of the year.

Daniela is nearly back to her best, she had sets points against schiavone and jankovic but just couldn't convert. I really think that she will get there, it's just a question of when. Would be great if she could reach a final this year though as she's made a final every year since 2004.

A heavy loss, particularly in the second set, but you can't really expect much else when the opponants are the Williams' sisters. Hopefully more luck in the singles for Daniela.

I didn't watch the game but from the score it seems that Dani & Agnes
fought hard in the first set but surrendered in the second.
I think that, more or less, it was an expected result.
Hope that Dani will fight to the end against Vera.

The doubles result, especially the second set, is disappointing but considering the Williams sisters are the Wimbledon and Olympic champions and this is Daniela & Szavay's third match together, it was asking a lot for Daniela and Szavay to win. They're going to be in Moscow next week so if Daniela's playing doubles there she should play with Szavay as it's better to build a partnership than play with a random partner every tournament.

Daniela at least got a match under her belt and got to play on the court before her singles match, so she can see how the court plays, how fast it is and what the bounce is like.

Daniela Hantuchova is right about everything.

No Daniela tomorrow, so they give Vera more time to recover. No advantage here physically.

It will be indoor clay. So it will be slightly different to the other events that it is near to (Charleston, Rome, Madrid, Berlin).

Hopefully we can see a competative match. Their last two meeting were nearly one-sided matches. I don't have ES2, so someone who can watch the match live would be nice to update the match.

This is strange. Why shows ES2 UK the match, but not ES2 Germany? I don't really care, because I don't receive ES2 but what kind of logic is this? :dunno:

And the website still says: 2 matches live on ES2 from 13.00-16.30.
