Daniela has withdrawn from next weeks chinese tournament too, so only Luxembourg remains...

This year has been awful in pretty much every possible way for Daniela. She missed two tournaments when she injured her knee back in February and it doesn't seem like she's going to play on tour again this year. If she doesn't play Luxembourg then she'll drop down the rankings some more as she has quarter-final points to defend from Moscow. However, she's in no form at all at the moment and there's absolutely no point in her playing injured. I'm ambivalent about her playing IPTL, she shouldn't bother at all if she's still injured or it interferes with her recovery but if she's fit and playing in it won't hurt her then it'll probably be fun for her and a good experience.

Next year she'll have to qualify for a lot of tournaments, certainly for most of the Premiers, or else she'll need wildcards to get in.

The important thing is that Daniela enjoys her tennis and that she's able to do herself justice and play as well as she can. Hopefully, she can recover and get fully fit or at least healthier for 2015.
