Great match! Saw the match on eurosport! And great/positive on-court coaching. But don't know the names of the 2 men, who were supporting daniela  Sure someone from Sanchez Casal

The stupid commentator said this is pistolesi, but for sure!! This was not him!!!

SOOooooooo happy she won that

Funny how life works sometimes. It's safe to say that we have all been in a Daniela Depression for months now. Today, she gets a really nice win that I hoped for but wasn't quite expecting. Afterward, I was driving around listening to oldies on Sirius Satellite XM. Most everything they came up with was a song I truly liked, and which fit a good Daniela victory perfectly! "Everybody Have Fun Tonight", "I Wanna Rock And Roll All Night", "She's Some Kind of Wonderful", and some selections from Dani's favorite band, U2. Let's hope that tomorrow, we'll be singing when she's winning! ;)

Let's Go, Daniela!

Thanks!

Do you reckon she could be back with the Spaniards?

I am 100 % sure the coaches are from the casal-sanchez academy as it was written on their jackets.

Unfortunately she lost to Caroline 6-7(3) 1-6. Seems to have fallen apart in the second set, getting broken 3 times whilst never once in the match creating a BP for herself. Only won 3/19 points on Caro's second serve,so it looks like she wasn't playing that well. :|

Another tournament where she doesn't have a deep run...sigh..the first set was clearly very close. But Daniela lost the wind out of her sails in the 2nd...I do take a little comfort from her makarova win though, she was blasting the ball at times which was really great to see. I think the casal team help her a lot and give her confidence. Good luck in Beijing Daniela, it'll be a tougher draw there fot sure.

I'm pretty sure the older guy was Eduardo Nicholas, who she has worked with before.

ball toss looks great and she was serving bombs!

Had Daniela blown the 1st set, it would really have been frustrating, but the stats say that Wozniacki never faced a break point and Dani saved all 3 that she faced, so the set clearly stayed on serve throughout and she didn't have a set point. Ergo, having seen the video of the Makarova match and made the same observations Eddy did, for the first time in quite a while I'm feeling encouraged! From what I saw, Daniela was hitting with more power than at anytime since she vexed Venus last year. I'm starting to believe that she's not yet done doing really good things in tennis. Hoping she does well with Peng tomorrow, which may well mean the end of the Dani/Domi Doubles Disaster! ;)

Let's Go, Daniela!

I will be encouraged if she is back with the Sanchez Casal team. They do know how to bring the best in her. So I am not too discouraged by the loss to Caroline.

You're right "Benji"

Daniela #Hantuchova is training again with @SanchezCasal system. She is travelling with Sánchez-Casal coach Eduardo Nicolas
