Super match, that finished after 22:30. Great atmosphere and a great effort from both players. Murray through to play Ferrero and, based on their match at Queen's, it should be another win for the Scot. However, the former-world number 1 is playing some solid tennis, and Murray could well feel the effects of this five-set epic in a couple of days time.

Murray said after the match that he was surprised that his match was played under the roof considering that there was no rain, but Tim Henman I think hit the nail on the head when he said that playing under the roof may be a blessing in disguise as it meant his match was guaranteed to finish allowing him a full day to rest and recuperate, if the match would have been played without the roof it would have had to conclude tomorrow.

I thoroughly enjoyed the match and secretly was wishing for a 5th set cause the tennis from both players was brilliant and the sound that was being created under the roof and the atmosphere from the crowd was sensational and made the whole experience that much better. I obviously wanted Murray to win, but wasnt too dissapointed that we got treated to another set.

His result against Ferrero would suggest that it should be a little bit more straight forward than tonight's match, but Ferrero has played well so far this week despite not being the worlds biggest fan of grass but as long as Murray can get enough rest, and I assume he will have another half a day or so to relax as the AELTC will no doubt put Murray on at tea time, then he should be able to come through that one leaving a mouthwatering match up against either Hewitt or Roddick.
