Avoided Gasquet again, and its Tursunov for Murray in round 3. 4 wins from 4 for the brit against Henmans nemisis and hopefully Murray can make that 5 and march into the quarter finals

Murray's got a great chance of getting to the final with Federer and Davydenko losing and Roddick withdrawing. He's also playing very well.

Daniela Hantuchova is right about everything.

A good come from behind win from Murray and hopefully to pressure of being favourite to reach a masters final will not get to him. Karlovic is in his way and after conquering Federer in two tie breaks, and then backing that up with a two set win, tie breaks, again against Kholschreiber the challenge for Murray is simple, stay strong on save, and take you break point chances when they come.

If Murray starts getting impatient he will lose this match and he has to know that Karlovic will not give him a lot on his serve. Take your chances when you can Murray and you will be in your first Masters Series Final

Karlovic in the semi's for Murray. Should be a win, but Ivo has caused the biggest upset this week so you never know. I would imagine it will be a couple of tie-break sets.
Karlovic's quarter-final match was painfully boring and i'm not anticipating anything special tonight (even though Murray is playing).
I would like to see Murray v Djokovic in the final, but at the same time I would like to see Nadal claim the number 1 spot next week. Should be a very high-quality second semi-final between the world number 2 and world number 3.

An easier win than I thought, although Karlovic did fight back from a break down in the second set. Murray had too much today though, and broke again.
In a post-match interview Murray stated that he wanted to play Nadal in the final and believes he can beat the world number 2.
Looking forward to the final tomorrow (Murray v Nadal or Djokovic), 20:00hrs BST, Sky Sports.

Was a much much easier match for Murray today than I think we all expected and considering that before this match Ivo won 49 of his 50 service games, Murray managed to read his serve really well and conjure 4 service breaks in his straight set win. A brilliant achievement for Murray and he should be really confident going into the Olympics and also into the Open cause arguably his is the most in form player after Nadal on tour at the moment. I still have my doubts about him beating Nadal in tomorrows final if that is who he is to face, so i would much prefer Djokovic, but its still an achievement nonetheless to reach a Masters Series Final and I hope there are many, many more to come

A great win for Murray today, taking his first ATP Masters Series shield!

Score: 7-6[4] 7-6[5]

Murray had chances in a few of Djokovic's service games in the first set but could not convert, eventually taking the set comfortably however in the tie-break.
In the second he went a break down early on but recovered and went a break up himself. At 5-3 (serving for the championship) he had 4 championship points but Novak played some top-class tennis. At 5-5 I thought Murray had got himself into serious trouble but he stayed composed and took a 6-5 lead, and then went on to take a dramatic tie-break by seven points to five - winning the match on his sixth championship point.
A very good match that was not always top-quality tennis but certainly had drama. It was extremely hot and Murray certainly coped better than Djokovic who looked deflated throughout the second set.
The presentation ceremony had to be rushed towards the end because both players had flights to catch to Beijing less than two hours later!
I think Murray has a great chance at the Olympics although my main hope is that he does well at the US Open - I think he can realistically get to the semi-final stage (perhaps even reach the final depending on his draw).
A great performance today and over the past two weeks, winning eight matches in twelve days.

Last nights match was more a test of will and determination compared to a test of who was the better tennis player. And deservedly Murray came out the winner.

Like asj001 said it wasnt the best tennis but some of the shots that were being produced at crucial moments were pure class. At 30-30 and 6-5 in the 2nd set (i think that was the point) after a long, cruelling rally, with both Murray and Djokovic running from side to side, changing pace and direction in an instant, Murray produced a rocket of a back hand, cross court, behind Djokovic and Mark Petchy's reaction (the sky sports commentator) summed it up and even had me clapping from the sofa to myself lol

The win is reward for the improvement he has made since the grass court season and gradually throughout this year and with Federer being in the form, or lack of, as he is, if Murray finds himself in his section, we could see a grand slam final in the offing for the Brit

lol, me too. A great point from Murray!
Petchy is a good commentator of Murray matches. Not so keen on Peter Fleming in the studio though.
