After a long service game with 2 BP's saved, she finally hold serve. And now 1-1 in the second set.
I hope Daniela can keep up her level.

Edit: the second set is more difficult now. Look like Olga has raised up her level.

The draw doesn't matter, what does matter is Daniela's level of play. If she can't raise her level of play she will be losing at any tournament regardless of the draw. Time to get back on track. Can't agree more! If she can improve, then i see no problem for her but if she plays like at the USopen,...

I also think this is a good place for Daniela to start over again. She doesn't have to face top player too soon. So hopefully if she can win her first match, she can take it from there and build up her level. About the entry list, I heard Petrova and Na Li are also there, rite?? If so, then she real...

Actually, I honestly think Daniela takes the rest of the year as time to regain her form because she nearly has no chance to defend nearly 800 points until the end of the year. I think that is why she enters so many tournaments. If she manages somehow to stay in the top 16, that is really good for t...

They lost the math already. Although I would say, if they played a lit bit more "seriously", they could have big chance to go through. Anyway, Ai and Kata were clearly the better team today. Daniela and Lindsay seemed to have a lot of fun though, they are all smiles after the match.

For me, it doesn't make the situation any better when the player Daniela lost to keep playing well. I mean, you are a better player, at least on the ranking, so you need to prove that. It isn't an excuse when you keep saying your opponent played so good. I mean, what would happen when at all the tou...

"The foot feels much better but I lost the feeling of playing and that takes time to get back ." so how much more time do you need? I'll give you one year, is that enough? I mean, really, you cannot keep making excuses like that when you are world number 12 and has come back to play for m...

I think she should take a rest at least. Keep loosing like this will hurt her confidence more even she shows no confidence atm.  To be honest, she's had enough time after her injury to get back in form but I have no idea why she is still playing so badly.

Well done Daniela, no one can lost in the first round 2 times in a row at a Grandslam as number 9 and 11 seed.

And with all the points she has to defend until the end of the year, I can't imagine how low she can get.

already a break down in the second ...

two breaks down. She needs magic to get through this match. I don't see any chance now.

The stupid EU here is showing T.Haas right now.

OK, Daniela is losing the first set. What I was worrying is coming true now. Common Daniela, get yourself together.

I guess I will be able to see her playing tonight as Eurosport here tries to show all the match of german players (obviously). Hopefully a performance that we all can be satisfied. According to a poster at GM http://www.tennisforum.com/showthread.php?t=354623, Daniela shows off really bad at the pra...

That's what I mean, everything is possible with Daniela. Who among us expected Daniela lost in the first round last year to someone who kept playing like craps before. And then all of sudden, her opponent played so well and Daniela just kept going downhill throughout the match. I just hope Daniela g...

But Hantuchova, who is coming back from a foot injury, said she was pleased with the way she played in New Haven. "This was a very important week for me," she said. "I don't think I could have asked for a better week before the U.S. Open." http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/tennis...
