I think Daniela will go into next match with much less pressure because she is the underdog now. Jankovic is number two now but she is not at her peak form atm. I think the key against Jankovic is you have to be consistent and aggressive because JJ can get a lot of balls back and always make you pla...

A very well first set, I must say. After that, a very bad second set, which according to her interview, she couldn't move at all because it was too cold out there. Then in the third set, she played well enough to get through, along with her fighting spirit which is really good. Another QF for Daniel...

After a good first set, she now plays the way she played in Bali. That is unbelievable. Daniela, please wake up!

In paper, Daniela is the favourite of course. I also think it is better for Daniela not to play Katarina. Tamarine is an experienced player, but she doesn't have any thing special. I think Kata lost because she is still tired from Tokyo. She led 5-1 in the second set and then lost it. If Daniela can...

very pleasant score.didnt faced bp.how was the 2nd serve? anyone winners,ue's? the score looks very pleasant but her performance was just ok overall, sometimes was very well. Gisela was just collapsed after the first break of second set. Her movement has improved and also her groundstrokes, better ...

A much better performance from Daniela today. Anyway, I feel like she starts off really slow. Thanks God Gisela too, so that Daniela can slowly get into the match and run away with it. But next match she should be more ready. Sometimes, she was not patient enough in the rallies (the first couple bre...

Dulko is really an unpredictable opponent. I think I have seen her playing several times, but every time is different. When she is on, she can play really well but she can play like craps the other day. So I think Daniela shouldn't underestimate her by any means especially when she is not in good fo...

If she were to meet someone like Eranni or Knapp in the first round then I think she has a chance of going deeper into this tournament... Are you sure if she meets these two players, she will win???   For me now, every opponent is dangerous for Daniela. I think Daniela is having ...

Yep, another tough list, another daunting list but after the last few weeks just gotta take every match as it comes Scott that's true. I have no expectation for this tournament, considering the strong list and her current form. It doesn't matter anymore how the draw looks like. It is just the matte...

As some of you have said, one thing we mustn't forget, when the ranking is going down, it means you will get tough draw more often. So it is never easy to go back when you are unseeded or low-seeded, you have to face top players all the time. Now Daniela is still around top15, she still has chance t...

After what I have seen in Bali, I cannot say this is an unexpected result.
She could hardly hold serve lately. This is just terrible.

I still think if this is a good decision to play here instead of smaller tournament like Vera does. Daniela need match practice and with such a strong field like this, I doubt she could have more than 2 match practice (or even 1). Is it worth traveling all the way there only to play one (or two) mat...

After what I have seen yesterday, I would say it would be a big success if she could beat Schiavone.

I think the person I saw today is Daniela back in 2004-2005, her worst time. I don't remember the last time when I watched her playing that bad. Even the last match I watched against Ai was much better. I can't understand that. Do pple practice to get better? I guess it is not the case for Daniela. ...
